Okay, we know from the video: 1. he punched some guy. 2. he is a male person and 3. he is black. 4. he does not agree with some Bush policies, (or maybe 5. he can drive a car and probabily has a car). That's all you get from the video.

a male person who drives a car obviously can belong in any political group or affiliation. So it comes down to 1. punch some guy 3. being black and 4. not agree with Bush. That is your standard for "leftist" because that is all the information available to you to judge.

I am perfectly correct in pointing that out. An elementary school kid is capable of processing this amount of information and reach the same conclusion. You appear to be well below that level.

It's too late to dodge this. Either you made a hasty conclusion without sufficient evidence, or you are just talking out of your ass.

The one that attacks me personally, of course.

We should keep in mind however, that the video is edited, which others already pointed out. And, you cannot draw conclusions about a gorup of loosely affiliated people from a wide range of backgrounds, based on a single instance.

Seems it's two videos and the one that is the bulk of the incident was taken by the fellow being punched who didn't tape everything in the first place.

I think both of these guys are actors hired by the Tea Party to put on this show

Found another vid of it.

The beginning clearly shows something going on that the camera didn't quite catch, the white dude is either shoving or punching or something similar in the black guy's direction while saying something about "don't touch my wife" quite vehemently which clearly shows he's being somewhat aggressive (possibly justified possibly not since we don't see what happened before any of that). It appears the white guy attempted to throw two punches at the black guy who was holding/diverting his arm so they didn't land. Then the black guy punches white dude solidly. I.e. it appears white guys can't punch.

I'd say more like "Tea Party Protester gets in scuffle". For all we know the black guy is a tea party protester and the white dude is a hardcore racist who didn't like the black guy touching his wife's elbow to ask what time it was.
