NAACP and the Tea Party (merged)

FOXNews.com - NAACP Considers Condemning Tea Party for 'Racism'

So the NAACP wants to condemn the entire TEA party movement because of the possible actions of a few people, some of whom have been shown to be lib plants there to stir up crap.

So when is the NAACP going to vote to condemn the New Blank Panther party for their Racial actions? The leader has claimed that the members are in the group, but were not speaking on behalf of the group, but he was not condemn their actions.

Re: NAACP Considers Condemning Tea Party for 'Racism'

If the NAACP goes through with this and issues some blanket racist tag to condemn the Tea Party it will pretty much end the debate on how political, narrow-minded, willing to manufacture division and racial tension, and to be honest racist the NAACP has become. To condemn this group and then say nothing on the New Blank Panther party saying it is ok to kill white babies really should tell us something.

One has to enjoy the irony of a racist organization proclaiming another group to be racist.

You mean, just like when some on the right condemn and hold the entire left side of the spectrum responsible, when some idiots wreck havoc at economic summits and what not?

It´s equally stupid. Just remember it, the next time someone left-leaning does something. It doesn´t represent the entire left-wing, just as the idiots involved with the Tea Party doesn´t represent it as a whole.

Its kind of funny how rightwingers over about 10 years turned "liberal" into a bad word, but liberals turned conservative tea-party protesters into a bad word in about a day.

Re: NAACP Considers Condemning Tea Party for 'Racism'

    I did watch what was available and read the speech, to the NAACP. A few things occurred to me;

I tried, I really tried, I took off my partisan cap and tried to recall and even tried to google combinations of words ala first ladies making political statements vis a vis the opposing party I cannot recall Nancy, Barbara or Laura making a flat out red meat partisan special interest remarks like that and they are, divisive ( no that wasn’t the whole speech, her remarks ala obesity etc. were well made) the other stuff it was perhaps half, but it resonated above the rest) . Feel free to refute that as to other first ladies, ( Hillary to be fair was a subject of rep. ethics investigations, White Water and got herself into hot water ala travel-gate etc. so she gets pass), seriously, I might have selective memory of past first lady events etc. and am not trying to make this a bash Michelle post, the point is, she has now put a target on her back and any shilling thereafter if she takes hits, she has to stand tall and take them, playing the; “ hey there are attacking my wife” should not be a get out of jail free card as it was in the election campaign.

This was a speech telling them to amp it up, to a demographic that still favors Obama in the mid 90's....second, the race card was played, hands down and with slimmest basis of evidence, to the point where in this is flat out divisive for its own purpose, there have been no overt systematic displays of tea party racism and since when if there were is this the way to handle it? You go amp up the other side?

This just isn’t right, its bad enough when their real race baiters/hustlers do it, now we have the first lady too?

The Tea Party ought to condemn the NAALCP for racism.

Re: NAACP Considers Condemning Tea Party for 'Racism'

The NAACP is like teats on a boar hog. Completely not needed today, and a waste of time. But these guys don't have the job skills to get a real job, if there were one even out there. There was a time when this organization was needed. Those times are gone, and they hate the hell out of it, IMO.

NAACP to vote on a resolution to call Tea Party racist

FOXNews.com - NAACP Poised to Vote on Resolution Calling Tea Party 'Racist'

Well ok since that really doesn't mean anything, I mean who really gives fat rats ass, I'm going to vote on my own resolution that the NAACP is a group of biggoted old blacks who long for the past when racism was a real problem and people actually gave a shit about their obsolete group which extorts money from victoms afraid of being branded racist.

UPDATE: I voted and the vote passed
"To be governed is to be watched, inspected, spied upon, directed, law-driven, numbered, regulated, enrolled, indoctrinated, preached at, controlled, checked, estimated, valued, censured, commanded, by creatures who have neither the right nor the wisdom nor the virtue to do so." John Stossel quoting some guy.
