Re: Congrats to the Democrats

Yes congrats, it was quite the ground swell and statement

very few states held their cards like in in 04 so things are definitley changing

i just hope , this doesnt turn into the late 90's and we go down the impeachment road

for it will end like the last one, house for, senate against, and a waste of time in the end

Ha-ha-ha ..its funny we now see these moderates come pouring out of the wood work. Tell me were you moderate when you backed bush grand plan to spend his political capital ..and take over the world?
As long as I have been discussing things with Gort, he has always made it clear to me that he is a moderate. All I had to do was read his posts with an open mind.

Re: Congrats to the Democrats

Ah I am used to the insults, implied and otherwise. It seems the only thing worse than a liberal or conservative is a moderate. The libs are only despised by the cons and the cons by the libs, moderates earn the ire of both. I used to just love listening to Limbaugh around elections. For almost 22 months he calls us every name in the book, but for two months around the election he used to have to bite his tongue since he knew without our votes his guy couldn't win. He kind of stopped doing that in 2002.

That's because this is a turn for the better instead of a turn for the worse

This time more Democrats than Republican, but there were some local races where I voted for the Republican candidate.

Given that this lastest crop of Republicans were spending money like drunken liberals, why should be be gnashing our teeth? I'm actually glad that we lost. They have abandoned (or neglected) conservatives and conservative principles. Screw them and good riddance.
