I have always wondered.

My dad is a full blooded Indian (i'm diluted) but as i understand it he has a lot of tax exhemptions for his tribe(s), lands, casinos and what not, and then further deductions for filing jointly with my mom who then falls under those exhemptions and until the last few years, knocking me off as a deductable and so on. But i'm not sure he ever got money for the troubles of his grandfather and great grandfather's suffering. I'm assuming they did get reparations in some way, would explain how they're all so filthy rich.

Yeah, I doubt this bill will do anything other than go down in flames (yet again). Rightly so too. This would be a red line for me.

You see I am German (both sides) - so my ancestors committed a terrible act against numerous people...and when I was a kid (no kidding) I was called a nazi on more than one occassion...as I see it somebody owes me money for this...I mean..I was traumatized.

It's fair to assume it will not go anywhere.

But self-pitying left-wing screwballs like Conyers will have a much larger forum than at any time in the past. So we may hear a lot more about this sort of thing in the coming years.

No, its not a conspiracy its the re-representation of a bill that one day with the right people in office and the right balance of party votes will pass.

What I don't get is I thought it was all over? The racial bias aspect that was supposed to be alivel and prevalent now being dealt a major blow with the election of obama? So why reintroduce the bill?

Because as I said several months ago and was echoed by some here, as to my grave doubts that the racial card would die if Obama were elected, and was a sham.
I remember clearly being told, oh no, you’re wrong, what sane person could say there is any systemic racial bias left if Obama gets elected? I thought it would take several months, but after Bobby Rush and his guilt trip and this, I am even more sure, it will never ever ever die. There are too many folks and organizations that live on the victimization tit and will never let it go.

There is in fact no amount of help, be it AA, quotas, set asides or money, that will kill it.
And that is because on a fundamental level from the git go, the mechanisms employed were wrong and not healthy for either of us, those who were victims of said bias and the society that had to carry the guilt for it.
