Clinton: U.S. Ready to Join $100B Climate Aid Fund

FOXNews.com - Clinton: U.S. Ready to Join $100B Climate Aid Fund

So I see old Hillary has taken it upon herself to sign us the tax payers up for yearly $100B climate bailout for poor countries. Thanks Hil. we really appreciate that. Don't worry about the staggering national debt. Hell we'll take care of that too. Or at least our unborn children will and I'm sure they'll thank you as well. Just one question though. Do you really think that piss poor countries give a fat rats ass about the climate? You think they are actually going to use all that money to protect the enviroment? Hell no they aren't. They are too busy starving and fighting among themselves. That money will be used to subsidize the rich lifestyles of the so called leadership and they will be laughing at how stupid and foolish the US is.

Its a sop. After spewing carbon on par with 600.000 Ethiopians in a year, they have nothing, so why not, its over 10 years. China zilch, they won’t even allow verification of anything they pledge or sign.

Chavez drew sustained and deafening applause when he said; "silent and terrible ghost in the room”, referring to capitalism, it’s easy to see where their heads are at and how politicized these events and issue has become.

One of the ad hoc leaders of the under developed nations seeking funds, sneered at the offer.

Its all theater. Very expensive theater.

have we learned nothing about what happens to cash sent to the third world ? its not as if its ever worked as intended.

and is now an appropriate time for this largesse ? I can think of 10% of American workers who would be adamantly against this.

The UN has never met a 3rd world dictator it didn't like... primarily because the UN is made up of 3rd world dictators.

That said... why not comment to the 100 billion fund... it's not like we actually HAVE THE MONEY!

over $300 dollars every year from every man woman and child in this country to spend on programs that will have no effective monitoring, no penalties for non-compliance and no clear limitations on where the funds will be spent doesn't sound very good to me.

Well we wouldn't want to break the norm would we?
I don't understand why Warren Buffet hasn't bought a country...what better investment could you have where all you have to do is makes promises and in return you get $millions and $millions.

What a deal.

Just hire a couple goons to be your generals...you know like Pilot in Christ's crucifixion....the guy sent the son of God to death, and in some sectors of older Catholicism he was honored!

These democrats (and some republicans) are deliberately gutting this country. These politicians, who many have the interests of foreign nations over America want us to sign some kind of treaty at Copenhagen which most likely would have resulted in us paying even more money

To me, this is a form treason.

Re: Clinton: U.S. Ready to Join $100B Climate Aid Fund

Seemingly the 100 billion is the purposed total budget for the fund, the U.S. would not be the only contributor. There are at least 195 countries in the world, just have to get them all to agree on how much they can contribute or will receive.
