Are we as we like to think of ourselves; generally reasonably “fed” “Housed”, “Clothed”, “Employed” ,“Healthy”, “All Knowing” “Ethical” members of the greatest Nation on Earth?

OR

Have we become so saturated with politically manufactured sound bites of orchestrated situations designed to mold our minds to hew to a particular desired dogma that we know not who we are. ?

Is there big money in keeping ones population confused, fearful and misinformed ? You’re damned right there is !

DO WE CARE; ?

We had no active terrorists on our land before we decided to give incredible support to Israel over the last 60+ years ? $$$

Our invasion of Iraq (for false reasons) added to our troubles producing profit for some and debt for others ? $$$

We have Pakistani terrorists and possibly their whole population at war with us after we began military actions within their country ? $$$

We have initiated an endless war in the Middle East.

Our interference in Iranian affairs caused even more
Terror within our own land ? $$$

Off-shoring our manufacturing lost many of our jobs forever. $$$

The S.C. decision to allow unlimited funding of elections by corporations seriously undermines election by voters.

We have become so brainwashed that we can think only of our own economic status and lives to sustain such a position
and show miniscule concern for other than our own comfort.
$$$

That we have Foxe’s guarding the Hen House of our economic wellbeing.
$$$

Some die some profit but we praise our motives as ‘tho we have been anointed and blessed with Christian love as no other on earth.

And Israel has supported us. Just why we used them as our catspaw in the region when the Arabs actually LIKED us at one time is beyond me but it has been a two way street and just about all of the blood flowing on it has been theirs, (and even more Palestinians) while our boys stayed at home. (Up until recently) We desperately need to change the equation now, both in terms of how we relate to them and they relate to the arabs, but this remains largely our problem and will as long as it's a third rail of American politics.

Hear, hear. Just shows what you get when you run and elect a goddam crazy and evil idiot. The Germans learned this in 1933, we got off easy, I suppose

And we still haven't gotten Osama, whom the Pakistanis want more than we do. It might help to realize that the lickspittles of said evil idiot above are no longer still in charge (so far) and stop trying to appease them by 'getting tough' with people we want to HELP us.

I can't help but wonder if Corporations might HELP us if we let them. They have to live in the world too. Crazy, evil and stupid seem much bigger problems to me than the most successful business model ever invented in human history

I get so god DAMN tired of people who call us decadent because we're more concerned about freezing in winter and having enough to eat than the "timeless wisdom of our forefathers" which generally turns out to mean "I got mine, fuck the starving poor I took it from," Fuck ideology, hell, fuck principles and morals especially, they're just fancy words to make the grieving feel bettter and the buzzards fat. Civilisation exists to ensure our survival, not the other way around
