Thread: Democrats Cut Food Stamps

I'm all for cutting back on food stamps. It's just one more thing to bait people into not trying to better themselves...

Technically they are cutting food stamps from 4 years in the future to claim this is deficit neutral. And plan to put it right back in when its needed to buy votes. Imagine a time, 4 years from now, when the DNC runs an ad saying "the republican congress doesnt want to feed children, and they will not pass this bill to fund the food stamp program", which the Dems took out.

So, theyre basically borrowing money from a program 4 years in future to buy some teacher votes now.

Teachers unions must be far more important... well they are far more important because they are expected to pump close to 30 million into Democrat campaigns this fall.

ALL the bailouts... ALL the stimulus money, are really only slush funds to feed the Democratic party political machine... nothing more.

Hardly a surprise then when the bailouts don't work and the stimulus doesn't stimulate...

An educated, yet malnourished person will at least be armed with the tools to generate income to fill that void. A well-fed uneducated person, eventually becomes malnourished when they cannot afford to buy adequate food.

I thought you conservatives hate these programs anyway. OHHHHH I get it. If reps do it then its the right thing to do. If a dem does it......then they are doing something wrong.

Democrats could cut taxes for everyone, make abortion illegal, cut welfare and social security, kill Mexicans coming over the border, nuke Afgahnistan and make Christianty the national religion and you would still probably hate them. LOL

in 2014....hence it will never happen.

Normally I'd be all for cutting food stamps... but maybe not right now... things are really crap out there... and not to pay off the union thugs.

I briefly received food assistance during a tight spell, shortly afterward I was back on my feet and couple years later I bought a house. Everyone getting help is not a dead beat who will let charity keep them down.

Taxes are at their lowest levels since before the Great Depression. Mexicans die daily crossing the boarder, wlfare has been cut, SS is frozen. Nuking a nation is totally wrong, and christianity is not worth as a national religion. But they could legalize pot and tax it to keep the tax collector away from the churches.

Um, taxes are the highest levels ever, 2.4 trillion in 2007 (1.9 during recession).
