Don't get sucked in by it. Demagogues have been around for thousands of years and it always ends the same way for them - people catch on, and they get ridden out of town on a rail.
14 Trillion in debt, about to be 15 trillion is broke. Beyond broke and an amount this country can never pay.

    That's an undeniable fact.

People are scared, and certainly should be scared.

More would be great. Gotta start somewhere, and they have made a start.

    That's something at least.

I agree. Dick and some others seem to be upset that the GOP isnt cutting enough. Glad we're on the same page finally.

The GOP used to have intelligent leaders with character. Obama will turn this thing around, it will be a long time for the jobs to return, since the GOP has delivered most of them to China. We have a good future, I believe in the current administration, he has turned the economy around and it is growing. GW took over the WH with a balanced budget and proceded to destroy the economy, get us in 2 wars, and waste all the good will generated by Clinton all over the world. Please, tell me again, why should we vote GOP?
All I can say is you've had your eyes closed far to long.

We'll yeah, when the facts you produce are dead wrong. I'll stick to my facts, if you don't mind. Thank you very much.

Hey I'm all for a stiff drink or two and a few laughs, never hurt anybody.

Actually no, we are not on the same page. What really happened is a pretty big zero, so far as cutting the budget is concerned, but what cuts did get made are just one more kick in the balls of people already down.

Republicans showed up after the battle and are nor bayoneting the wounded.

One of the neighborhood kids, about 9 years old, just showed up at the door with a box of his toys. He asked me to buy one. His folks are broke.

That has given me a pretty bad few minutes.

Republicans have been saying they are about jobs, jobs, jobs. But they aren't. They are only about delivering misery and heartache to as many as possible.

Actually it is the Democratic party who is determined to deliver as many people into poverty as possible.

Everyone starve together. That's the way of the liberal.

Please tell me again, what is that Republicans are doing about jobs, jobs, jobs, their number 2 priority?

Well to start with, it's not their job to create jobs. Job creation is something government is absolutely abysmal at.

Every job created by the government has to be paid by someone who isn't working for it.

Spending less, and getting more money back in the hands of the citizens, getting OUT OF THE WAY of the people who are the job creators.

Looks like they're off to a start. A slow start, but at least for once a move in the right direction.

Let's see. Depends how far back you want to go doesn't it?
