This applies not only to the open forum but all and or any chat rooms, articles, private messages and or private forums. All content that violates this rule will be deleted, without notice.

This is not only a violation of TOS with our host but also with our search engine providers and back in 2004, the biggest search engine operators all announced they were removing all advertising content of all online gambling. Thus if our search results on their providers show any advertising of any sort to any gambling it is not only a violation of the TOS with the host but we will end up losing our SEO. Before it ever of course gets to that stage we will instantly terminate the accounts of any parties involved.

Bear in mind that back in 2002 in the fall, the 5th circuit court of appeals also ruled that the FWA prohibits electronic transmission of information for sports betting across telecommunications lines, so his may also be foul of the law, and subsequently may also end up landing users in legal difficulty. So in some ways, this may be doing you a massive favor. That also includes the usual tricks of users dropping off US servers and using Australian / British and Irish proxies as has been the case in the past.

You have been warned, this is a zero tolerance policy and there will NO second chances. If you engage in it, you will be booted from the site.

It's time to say 'enough is enough' and start enforcing the nudity rule of the forum. One of our former administrators obviously decided that we needed to mix a little porn into politics and encouraged others who knew no better to follow suit and that has always been against the rules originally handed down by the forum owner. When visitors search for a political site to join, many will not want to see half-nude avatars popping up on their screens, especially if they have children around or are at work so we're going to give everyone one week to remove any images from their avatars and signatures that involve nudity or inappropriate partial nudity. Failure to do so will result in admin removing it for you.
I know many of you guys have encouraged Chloe (who was totally unaware of the rule thanks to a former admin) to keep her avatar up, but sorry y'all, it must be removed. Anyone who has a problem with this can voice their opinion but know this, the rule is firm and will not be changed.

I received a message from Google Adsense regarding the following:

Google ads may not be placed on pages with adult or mature content. This includes, but is not limited to, pages with images or videos containing:
• Strategically covered nudity
• Sheer or see-through clothing
• Lewd or provocative poses
• Close-ups of breasts, buttocks, or crotches


I realize that this may be a hassle, but please adhere to this. If you are using an avatar that fits this description then please change it. If you're aware of a page that contains such content, then please let us know.

This isn't meant to curb or restrict free speech, but is a measure that needs to be taken.

As you can see, we have just made several changes to the site. This process will be ongoing as we work on not only adding additional features, but also improving performance.

New features include improved searching options, Facebook integration, and the roll out of mobile apps for both the iPhone and Android platforms. I am hoping that the number of mobile systems supported will be increased at some point as I have neither of these.

We are still working on getting the style to look the way we want.
