It is not kharma. It is a horrible loss of innocent life with camera hounds taking advantage of those who have died. Last edited by Si modo; 05-27-2008 at 04:30 AM. |

If you noticed Ms. Stone also said she was thinking aloud and that the she learned from the situation. She said at first she thought it was Karma, but then she later used the Tibetan example as a illustration on how to live. Even though people think evil of you sometimes it's best when those who do evil to you are in need you must bite your lip and do what is right and help them any way you can. That is what she said and that is what I got from her statement.

I don't know if I agree with her entirely about China, but in May 8th I posted about what happenned in Myanmar - God is Angry at Myanmar That’s Right Nate on my bog. Now consider that Obama just gave that big speech in Iowa where Tornadoes have been hitting the state hard and you have to think.

Did you see Basic Instinct 2? This is about as entertaining as she gets now.

It's insensitive, callous, inhumane. I can't blame you and I can't discount your anger at all. It's a righteous anger. |

Sharon Stone: "I'm an idiot!"
Well, that would have been more to the point.
Sharon Stone suggests China quake was "karma" Seriously, why do these people insist on opening their yaps on shit that they clearly don't understand?

Thing is, when others tell me that the USA deserved what happened to it on 9/11 (for whatever reason one can imagine), it's a callous, inhumane, and insensitive thing to say. The innocents who lost their lives that day and their surviving loved ones are not to be used for gain on any talking point. The Chinese who lost their lives that day (and continue to lose their lives) and their surving loved ones are not to be dishonored for gain on a talking point. In comparison, the gain on a talking point is seriously irrelevant compared to the honor of an innocent who lost their life and the grief of their remaining loved ones. It's opportunism at its worst. There are plenty of other examples and incidents on which to make gain on a talking point. I leave this one alone. Last edited by Si modo; 05-29-2008 at 05:59 AM. |
