The first Muhammad look-a-like competition

A Muhammad lookalike competition is scheduled to take place during the Frankfurt book fair in Germany, organised by the german satire magazine "Titanic" and has already caused an outcry not only in Germany.
The makers of Titanic have for example invited turkish president Abdullah Gül to take part (who was not amused and won´t come) but nine competitors were confirmed, among them a turkish/german author and cabaretist and a conservative columnist.
Titanic promises on its website : " Come along to the most dangerous event in Frankfurt......It will be a blast."

I love Titanic. It's the German language version of National Lampoon, but more irreverant and better written.

Titanic sounds like my kind of magazine. I laughed out loud when I read about the FIFA bribery attempt with Cuckoo clocks and Black Forest Hams! I am sure this event is giving the law enforcement people in Frankfurt one hell of a headache though. Frankfurt was the only city I visited when I was in Germany many years ago, I had a great time there

So much for the stereotype that the Germans have no sense of humor! Sweet!
