I've never heard Olbermann claim to be independent or unbiased.

Of course, he does actually back up his broadcasts with facts. Crazy thought, that.

Yes, I have watched Olbermann a few times over the years. I'm not sure what this has to do with your claim that he's my "boy."

of course i did we actual had a little conversation on the thread and there like on this thread you always defended olberman , to say you dont like the dude is disingenuous to say the least he is the standard bearer for liberals now so of course it is ok to like him if you are of that persuasion

Re: Msnbc obama dvd

ok more MSNBC love

I have never ever seen more biased coverage of a presidential address , than i did tonight when MSNBC had olberman , matthews and maddow have a "compliment off " post speech. it was un abashed and seemed to be for effect. Promptly after the counter speech by the republicans they dismantled his speech and made jokes of it. this was a level of bias i have only witnessed during a rush talk hour, or on air america. Yet those are on the radio and are on slanted networks, not on the tv and not on a "news network" i have to admit it was beyond his inauguration and beyond the election night.

I am of the opinion that no one on the left can ever run their suck about fox i have never seen anything on fox during these events that have paralleled this and even tonight they were on both sides and even cnn had a few negative comments just to do the right thing

You know, the news is incredibly depressing these days. Thankfully, the technology gods have come up with all sorts of ways for us to get news from more than one source. Therefore, the solution to your problem is quite simple.

Don't watch MSNBC.

for the record in case you think i am incapable of running a remote control i am like a 7th level remote control wizard and have a universal that is able to flip to numerous tvs so i can just walk around with one so got the flip the channel down pat and actually watch all the networks during events like this cause really love to see the different approaches amongst the networks

but of course that isnt the point i am trying to make , the point to my forever flogging of MSNBC is for 8 years this board was polluted by FOX or i am sorry FAUX news is Satan, or at least one of the worst thing ever on the planet earth

and now the same type of folks who polluted this space turn a blind eye to the fact that THEIR channel is actually worse

in the end you have to give me credit i keep my pollution pretty much on one thread do i not? that has to get me some kudos from those who think that this is not a worthy topic

MATTHEWS: Well, that too. ... But I’ll tell you, it’s radiant, the happiness. In fact, just us lucky enough to be in this business today, looking out the window here and getting the reaction when the crowd catches your eye. It is such a deal.

OLBERMANN: Well, as we noticed, and again, we all walked through this crowd, to some degree. I don’t know how many "good mornings" were said today.

MATTHEWS: Well, it sure as hell helps to be on MSNBC today. Let’s talk straight here. This is the network that has opened its heart to change, to change and its possibilities. Let’s be honest about it. These people watch this network out here.

OLBERMANN: Well, I was going to say, not just to us. You’ve heard other people say hello to each other, people who didn’t know each other but were here for one single purpose, and were thus already introduced to each other.

MATTHEWS: This is the network of the 21st century, MSNBC, and I think we’re open to it, and that’s why this crowd knows us.

OLBERMANN: He’s Chris Matthews and he approved that message.

So this is real....

What do they think when and if they read their own transcripts?

This is pure junk - absolutely worthless - the gurgling and giggling of not-too-bright children.

It would be unimaginable for Fox reporters to get away with this vomit-inducing swill when covering a Repubican.

"Never seen so many teeth" indeed.....

You know what, I am irked by the news a lot these days. For so many reasons, I probably couldn't list them all. So I'll make a sweeping claim that most people who are on the news are stupid. They will get on my nerves at some point. I really like my nerves, they are frayed, but I try to take care of them, so I stay away from the things that get on them.

MSNBC gets on my nerves for a variety of reasons. I gave up on Morning Joe when I started wanting to punch Mika. Its 6am, there is no reason to put myself through that.

CNN - Meh...

Fox News - I'm a baby killing liberal, you know I can't watch Fox News. My wiring goes crazy and I end up turning into Ash from Alien.

This post just about sums it up for the average joe, all news and media coverage sucks.

But going into it further i would be intrigued to see how it broke down amongst folks here if there was a poll asking which of the 3 is he worst, and maybe one asking which is the best.

Clearly the viewers chose Fox far and beyond anyone else but this place is reknown for having a million and one Slon's with the most warped/unusual views.
