BTW, every normal person "makes fun" of other people, including people of their own race, creed, ethnicity... ect. not being able to laugh at your lineage, yourself or others must be a miserable fucking existence. What pisses me off is that people take jokes personally. a joke is a joke, calm down. At least the democrats have a sense of humor. I have yet to hear a "conservative" or a "republican" make any kind of good joke. but hey, prove me wrong, find one and send me the link. but your gonna have a hard time. Lpfan |

South Park is definitely not a product of the left and it's the funniest show on television. Also, there is not any funny political humor from the left (most of it just comes off as whiny and childish). The right has plenty of humorous talk show hosts (Hannity, Mike McConnell, Billy Cunningham, Glenn Beck etc....) |

As for "(Hannity, Mike McConnell, Billy Cunningham, Glenn Beck etc....)" i would most definitely NOT consider these political comedy. nice try though... And you said "there is not any funny political humor from the left"... how about "Daily Show", "Colbert Report" (yes this is left wing), "Real Time"... the list goes on. All of which are left. Funny as shit too. Lpfan |

John Stewart and the Colbert Report is not that funny, this stuff is made for high school kids. I guess they are funny if you are a die hard left winger, however, I wouldn't be bragging about that (really trying hard to not insult you because of your taste of humor). As I said before, the funniest shit comes from Libertarians. |

Re: Wanda Sykes...
I actually missed seeing Wanda Sykes on the tele, and seeing her in action like that is funny. I kinda enjoyed her Rush-Limbaugh-kidney joke. I mean, I can see how it can be offensive, but I mean, it was only a joke!

Beck on the other hand is down to earth, to the point and really funny. edit: With Hannity, it's fun to laugh at him, with Beck it's fun to laugh with him. |

Re: Wanda Sykes...
How was Trent Lotts saying Strom Thurman shoulda been president at his birthday offensive? He lost his job for that. Will Obama get any flak for laughing at someones kidneys failing? Of course not. DOuble standard.
