For some reason I find myself respecting Bill O'Reilly even though I pretty much disagree with everything that the man stands for. In contrast to people like Hannity, I find he says what he believes because he believes it and not for the sole reason of being partisan. I find O'Reilly has higher journalistic standards than most on his network even taking into account his ridiculous outbursts. I just believe him to be genuine.
In all honesty I can't even say the same about Olberman and others on the left. Olberman likes to really press the partisan issue more so than being genuine in his arguments. Chris Matthews & Lou Dobbs seem to be the same mold like O'Reilly and I respect them for it.

O'Reilly is like most other shock-jocks in the entertainment industry. They're paid to get ratings. His rants get ratings. He says whatever crap he can or wants to 'cause people wil watch it. He's an idiot ... and I'm surprised at you Danny.

One thing i can say about O'Reilly is that he isnt afraid to have anyone on his show to debate. He Frequently has people with complete opposite veiws than him on his show to disscuss things. I cant say the same about Olbermann. People think he is a genious, but he never has anyone on his show to challange his opinions.

while rush does have only one point of view i still have heard him with callers that dont agree with him. He will at least debate with the people he bashes, unlike Olbermann.

I watch this douchebag daily..he's a big time phony of the highest order. He does a half-assed job of appearing to be fair and balanced...he's not.
The people to respect on Fox are Shephard Smith and, believe it or not, Geraldo, as Geraldo takes everything on a case-by-case and issue-by-issue basis...not on partisanship. Now thats to be respected.
Back to the world class asshole Bill-O Da Klown...he's renowned for shouting people he disagrees with down, insulting people left and right, whether they are there or not, skewing things and questions to his beliefs and wants and turning off guests mics when he really can't get his way.

Every time a lefty opens their mouth about one of there people I have to keep correcting them about their own bias. I know Fox is biased. I can, at least, see it. Lefties will not see their own.

And then he screams at them and finally cuts their mike off, so they can't say anything. He lets them on, in other words, but controls the show so they can't help but look bad. By those lights Morton Downey was fair.
At least that's the only ones I've ever seen. Journalist or no I just can't watch him. He has the same delivery as some old drunk who sits on the end of the bar and mutters into his beer all day. So he may have some honest debate, I dunno but I've never seen it.
Limbaugh, btw, at least actually admits to purposely doing that. (the purpose of this show, he had said several times of his program, is to make the host look good, so we can get good ratings and charge exorbitant advertising fees)
