re: Right Wing Extremism

I am aware of the title, but you made a statement about how extreme Savage was, and I asked you to present an example of this extremism, but as I suspected, you cannot. So in typical liberal debating style, you changed the subject.

Furthermore, congressman Rohrabacher is not a member of the media, and PMSNBC is part of the left wing MSM. Soooooooo, what does that have to do with, "Right Wing Media & Their Extremism"?

And you're tellin' me to pay attention?

Perhaps I should have named it "Right Wing & Their Extremism"

I think I'll rectify that now.

So Michael Savage fights back against Media Matters propaganda, and that makes him extreme? Only in Amerika.
Are you somehow implying that Michael Savage isn't extreme?

The first three links are clips of Michael Savage spewing ridiculous spiels of hate and ignorance. I will say there is considerable commentary by The Young Turks in the first three links, which is not my reason for posting the video. The reason is so Michael Savages comments might be heard. The links following those are without the commentary.

YouTube - Michael Savage's Racist Remarks
YouTube - Michael Savage Hate Speech Exposed
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVHDWZ5nKl0 - seriously, Savage has some real problems here.

YouTube - Everyone Else is a Racist to Michael Savage "Go gargle with Rogaine"...
YouTube - Michael Savage Gets Fired
YouTube - Michael Savage - "Eliminate Martin Luther King Day" - "Eliminate MLK Day"

Just a few examples. I found many more.

Right wing media is pretty easy to find, but come on - using Michael Savage as a way to argue against it? You're making it too easy.

so on the a basis of this he should be denied access to a country? If that’s the yardstick then well, the lists of persona non grata would be nebulous.

When did I even imply that I agree with his banning from the UK? I didn't. I was responding to what appeared to be a clear implication that somehow Michael Savage is not extremist. He is one of the looniest guys with a mic out there.

On the contrary, I think jokes like Michael Savage should be allowed to spew their hate, as I think it does that rabid base much more harm in the long run.

re: Right Wing Extremism

Thanks for at least posting some links.

I'll watch the vids later when I get home, but I can almost guarantee you're mistaking showmanship, and passion, for hatred, racism, and extremism.

I will say though, Savage doesn't mince words.

"Get AIDS and die" - this is mistaking showmanship and passion for hatred and extremism?

Savage implying that non-Whites vote on racial lines when Whites don't and somehow will be vengeful towards Whites after Obama wins ISN'T racism?

I'll let everyone judge for themselves.

USA Today Columnist/Pacifica Radio Talk Show Host Julianne Malveaux, on Justice Clarence Thomas: “You know, I hope his wife feeds him lots of eggs and butter and he dies early like many black men do, of heart disease. Well, that's how I feel. He is an absolutely reprehensible person.”

is that extremisim or showmanship?

Hate and extremism. The comment is completely reprehensible, not to mention racist.

Furthermore, if you can show a pattern of these types of comments to me, as is very easy to do with Michael Savage, I'd be glad to list her amongst those types of morons.

You need more than one comment? So if you only lynch one minority you're not a racist? But if you lynch two...whoa now, look out buster!

I'm not sure how much of what these people say they actually mean though. I see people on both sides get frustrated about something and then they lash out and say something stupid. I've done it, and I'm sure everyone on this board has done it. The only difference is that they are being recorded.
