-edit- This reminds me of a guy I used to work with a few years ago. He was a "republican" but he hadn't voted for a republican in decades. He straight up told me that he was registered the way he was so he could purposefully vote for the weaker republicans in the primaries so the democrats would have a better chance of wining. Maybe this is what Powell is doing. Being dishonest about where he's being registered so he can change and weaken the opposition.

Hey, that's my idea, but with me that's just the way it's worked out. The Party has this thing about fielding candidates that are gaping assholes.
Why should I care, be exclusionary nimrods, see where it gets you. The quicker your type runs the party into the ground, the quicker we can change it back to what it used to be
