I think that one of the comments sums it up brilliantly. "We may not know how many people were there, but the government knows" That is the important thing. We can debate it from now until doomsday. I have my own figure and that is based on the opinion of an expert in this precise geographical area. But what really matters is that the Administration know how many people attended.... and I suspect that it is causing some huge concern in the White House.

No, it was not 30-70k. but you believe whatever suits your agenda, Andrew. What matters is the government knows how many people turned out...

These people are representative of 'middle America', and that demographic may be predominently white. But, this was one protest - other protests in areas where there is a different demographic had a much higher ethnic mix but don't let facts get in the way of your agenda.

I think it's interesting that the left are so incredibly worried about these protests (because there were, in fact, protests across the country) that they feel they need to keep trying to dismiss any evidence that large swaths of Americans - of various colors, creeds and political views - are angry enough to come out and say so.

It must be a frightening time for you. Please be assured that, while we do have guns - we are not given to violence. We are quite law abiding people.

I don't have any agenda. Its just that there have been doctored photos going around trying to inflate the numbers. The most reasonable range of estimates i can find is between 30 and 70.

Again, every picture ive ever seen from these protests is predominantly white. If you have pictures that show a diverse crowd representative of americans at one of these things i will have no problem acknowledging it.

Why does it matter that much? 70K is still alot of people. That was good organizing to get them all there.

I'm just curious as to why Glenn Beck didn't attend? Has he said why he couldn't make it?

Well there was a few more there than that, I saw a news clip last night of a black woman that was there, she said she had voted for Obama but had regretted it for many months now. She was mad because he ran as a moderate, but has been far far left.
