Two things that correlate don't prove cause and effect.

Cities tend to have liberal policies. Cities tend to have a certain poverty rate. That doesn't mean the liberal policies CAUSE poverty. Nor does it mean poverty CAUSES liberal politics. Its probably the case that large groupings of people cause liberal politics (and rural distributions cause conservative politics), and that large groupings of people in a capitalistic system inevitably leave a portion very poor. Hence, large cities have liberal politics and poor people, but the politics didn't CAUSE the poverty.

If his father was hispanic then he would be called a latino, if his father is black, he's black. This is usually the rule, the paternal side is the identifying side, except with mixed girls and white/black miscegenation. The black side is most often the identifying side regardless. I didn't make the rule.

Thing is Chassi we don't belong to just one group, we belong to a bunch of sub-cultures. I would blindly guess you belong to a sub-group pipe aficionado. So Pres is mixed, he identifies with blacks, he likes basketball (1 strike) he's a lawyer(2 strikes) he's a politcian (strike 3) he's an author, a noble prize recipient. Some want to include him into groups such as socialist, and muslim, groups they deem as negative attributes. But he, as you and I are, is American 1st.
