Re: I noticed something odd today at the bookstore
Fox news has high viewership and conservative talk radio has high listenership maybe the book stores want to increase their sales numbers, at least for the holiday season, by stocking the shelves with conservative books.

At least it was well-written and not plagiarized.

Re: I noticed something odd today at the bookstore
Nor was it attributed. In her book, Palin gives credit to collaborator Lynn Vincent
Plagiarism is when you take credit for something you haven't written, is it not? It would seem Palin HAS given credit, but Ayers' name doesn't appear on the cover of "Dreams From My Father, does it? |

Re: I noticed something odd today at the bookstore
Actually no, plagiarism goes far beyone copying. When I was in grad school at Vandy we were told that it is completely unacceptable to take someone else's words and change the wording a little in an effort to make them our own. They looked for originality. Anything less is considered an honor code violation there. At least it was in my department.

Thank you for all the links supporting my contention.

You, in a round about way, accused Sara Palin of plagiarism even though she credits Lynn Vincent. Where is your intellectual honesty, my friend? |
