Those private home owners are choosing to display it in their own homes. Not that big a difference.

We have a right to stop filthy pigs from making millions on the backs of our kids.
Yeah, you do. It's called not buying their shit. What's the matter? Need the government to play mommy and hold your hand for you?

People watch that shit and think it's factual. That's criminal. Look at the crap gore has stirred up with his freedom to put out a movie purporting to be science. Too much power, not enough control. It's an outrage.
You want to make non-contract-related lying criminal?

Nonsense. Billboards, previews, ads in magazines, sky writers, you name it. The filth is everywhere and the pathetic state of the average American youth is the evidence.
    Yea, it's a big difference.

No, I want a police man there when the alarm goes off at the bank, and I want one there when some pig is exploiting kids so he can make a buck. It's not rocket science.

Oh, I'm happy. Have been for years. No thanks to this disgusting society that has devolved though. No values, no integrity, no honesty and no spine to stand up for what's right. If it feels good, do it, right out of the 60's.

Previews and ads in magazines: you bought them. Are you saying you didn't expect the movie theater to have previews or your magazine not to have ads? Don't like it, don't buy it.

As for billboards and skywriters, don't look at them. I see ugly people all the time when I go outside. I don't like it. Are you suggesting we ban them from going outside without covering their faces? What I do is I don't look at them or I don't let it get to me.

That's the fault of the parents who buy the TV service. You're once again in favor of more or less smashing down doors and banning people from watching what they want to see because you think it might influence them in a way in which you don't want them to be influenced.

I believe in private property, freedom of speech and freedom of thought. I also believe in tolerance of those who wish to watch stuff I might find offensive in their homes.

In other words, you don't want to be judgmental, right? Sadly, many have forgotten that our society and it's laws came together along with the Constitution precisely because people were willing to be judgmental, wrong is wrong. If someone is watching child porn in his "home" that doesn't make it right. We have lost all ability to identify wrong doing which is precisely why we're heading down the tubes.

What your basically saying is that a man who wants to raise his family in a decent fashion should move them to a cave in the out back so that the scum in hollywood can make a buck. Well, we're going to disagree.

I make judgments all the time. If I like a show, I watch it. If I don't, I change the channel or I turn the TV off. If someone is watching something boring (in my opinion) in their home that I really don't like, I don't give a shit.

You're not talking about identifying "wrong doing," you're talking about forcing people not to watch stuff they like on the grounds that you think it might influence them in a way you do not want them to be influenced.

All he'd have to do is not put a cable box+TV showing porn in his kids' room.

And why should I have to move to some cave to avoid seeing ugly people in public? All I want to do is grow up in an ugly-free environment.

Since your rather unimpressive powers of observation seemed to have missed it, it's still illegal, everywhere in this country, to watch child porn. Anywhere.

Nice straw man you've got there, Hoss.

    Very well said.
