CBS has zero "personal responsibilty" to YOUR children. YOUR children are just that, YOURS. CBS's responsibility is to their employees and shareholders, and since NCIS is consistently high in the ratings, even after something like 6 years, I'd say CBS is doing a damn good job of taking care of their responsibilities. If YOU decide that CBS is not providing programming suitable for you and your family, turn it off. Get everyone you know to turn it off. Guess what, CBS will change their programming accordingly to continue and honor their responsibilities.

It's not nonsense, comrade. You hate freedom, just admit it and you'll feel better.
How else would you describe your desire to censor Hollywood? How would you go about it? I assume the censorship would be applied by some government agency, which would have to approve tv episodes before they aired? Seems pretty restrictive (and communistic) to me. Did you really think this through?
Strange to me that a person wanting to make a case for the lack of morality in today's TV programming would pick something like NCIS, instead of the myriad of disgusting and moronic "reality" shows there are out there. I think one episode of "Flavor of Love" or "Tila Tequila Shot at Love" would do a whole heck of alot more damage to a child than all 6 years of NCIS combined. Or are you ok with uncensored sex in the media, but just don't condone sympathy for Muslims? It just seems like such an odd choice to make.
How about using enough socialism to make it more cost effective to have more channels?
The public sector could generate revenue from those forms of "means of production" in a more market friendly manner while providing for the general welfare.
