Just to be clear here: You made the claim that Spitzer stole taxpayer money to pay for hookers. The facts seem quite clear that he never stole a penny, nor used taxpayer dollars for his hookers. You were attempting to smear a man with lies, lies that you purposely told.
Is Spitzer and idiot? Probably. Is he a criminal? There is no evidence of it, nor so far as I can find, has criminal activity even been suggested, even by his enemies.
Am I defending Spitzer? Nah. I am defending the truth.
