MSNBC's new commercials are simply amazing. The collection of footage put together to emphasize unity and happiness is very powerful. A must watch.

You might hope to keep your insurance plan, your doctor, your premium, and your deductible, but Obamacare is going to change all of that for you.
And the bonus is, they can keep canning their dead end hosts like Keith Olbermann and still run these commercials...brilliant!
It would be nice if they would accurately quote that section of the Declaration of Independence. Of course they left off the "endowed by their Creator". We must remove all references to God, right?

i think it is pretty disingenuous ... it should be lean left
MSNBC has been climbing out of the ratings basement for years and only recently (I believe last year?) they finally beat CNN to become the #2 rated news station in America right behind FOX.
We all know where FOX comes down on the "news" partisanship-wise.
These commercials are clearly drawing the battle lines between stagnant, conservative FOX and progressive, forward-thinking/seeing MSNBC.
They're staking a claim as THE progressive news channel.
Nothing wrong with that, but it is what it is.
I really like the way they've gone about it, by jettisoning Olberman and his divisive rhetoric and playing to the moderate, thoughtful left and independants rather than radical, far-left ideologues.
I expect this new MSNBC will only last as long as it takes for their ratings to drop behind whatever other news station (CNN?) picks up the Olberman banner (if not Olberman) and runs as FOX's ultra-liberal opposite.
Then MSNBC will drop the inclusivity and start back up with the dirty pool that brought them to #2 in the first place.
Because as "beautiful" as this new MSNBC seems, it's just an advertising strategy that's capitalizing on the post-Tucson "can't we get along" vibe.
Once the vibe is gone, and it will be, so will this campaign.
Again, nothing wrong with what they're doing, and it is a brilliant strategy given the current climate, but at the end of the day MSNBC is a business concerned with making money and not a martyr to the cause of inclusivity.
This is simply good business.
