Yea, what proud political commentary to be had among the dick jokes and snide one-liners.

It's an act Jon Stewart is a bought and paid for media whore.
Jon Stewart is seemingly damn wealthy, I wonder how much of his income goes to his fellow citizens out of the goodness of his heart?

Probably as much as what Hannity's does!
When you can't attack the facts, you just choose to belittle the message. . .

Yep. . .you do know about "snide one liners and dick jokes!"

It is a commentary on the news when Comedy Central is seen as a more reliable source for news than Fox News. lmao

I'm still trying to get it to stream but I'm not sure whether it will work or not as Afghanistan is woefully lacking high-speed internet. What I am sure is that Stewart will take pot-shots from the side lines and not offer any comprehensive alternatives to fix the economic problems of our country.

    Actually, he does.

Just because he's a comedian doesn't mean there isn't truth in his commentary. Furthermore, on many occasions he has mentioned to other wealthy guests that people like "them" (Stewart and the guest) can afford to pay more in taxes to 'give back' to the country that has given them so much. You sure won't hear Hannity saying that.

John Stewart is a regular supporter of charities such as Autism Speaks, Robin Hood, Comic Relief, Feeding America, Stand Up to Cancer, but his big one is the Parkinson Foundation, which he's supported for 10 years now.

Typical that people can't find something wrong with Stewart's commentary piece so they have to attack him personally.

The best bit in that piece is the rush to defend those lowly people just getting by making $250k a year when the tax cut issue came to a head late last year, but then the same conservatives now say that teachers making $50k a year are the "have mores" living high on the hog.

Got nothin, so you go after the source?

    Pathetically predictable.

According to simpletons and stupidassdumbfuckingidiots, a news network featuring talking heads who present both sides of a contentious issue in a fair and balanced way is "hypocritical".

Sure, when you see something that has TRUTH in it, and that would show up your own beliefs as total ignorance, the only thing left is to go after Stewart.

Sometimes the minds of some folks when presented with truth, want nothing of it! They choose instead the dark side. And they call the messenger bad names, accuse him of shit, so as to misdirect. Truths are horrible, for the Cons. When you show em up, instead of admitting their own error, they do every dance imaginable, as they try to dance their way OUT. One day they will dance off a cliff. And it could not come a minute too soon.

Ah, so you must be referring to the simpletons and idiots who bash NPR?
