It's sad to see that all the effort Martin Luther King jr. put into ending prejudice is lost and the community that rallied so hard to see such behavior come to an end. As long as it's not me comes to mind...
When stories like this come up where the hell are the Jesse Jacksons and Al Sharpton's? If anyone should be rallying today to end prejudice it's these types of characters. I never gave them much credibility to begin with so at least I'm not disappointed. In a poll conducted by the Boston Globe, 71 percent of Blacks and 57 percent of Whites believed that "Arabs and Arab-Americans should undergo special, more intensive security checks before boarding airplanes."
Oh,that's right, my memory starts to elude me as the decades fly on by..
I FORGOT that it was a highly trained team of Anglo grannies-in-walkers, large busted 15 yr. olds, and cheap suited executives and business travelers who managed to hijack those planes and kamikaze into those buildings

It's important to remember which culture invented the idea of racial equality. It's a view that other cultures do not share.
The real sad part in all of this is neither Jesse Jackson nor Al Sharpton act in a manner consistent with what Martin Luther King Jr suggested we all should strive for.

"They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." - Benjamin Franklin
"Every time something really bad happens, people cry out for safety, and the government answers by taking rights away from good people.” - Penn Jillette amazingly enough, and I agree.
Don't confuse my intensity with anger.
