No.
Some people still have money yes, but a more correct statement is people still have credit to blow.

Sure is...the American economy was/is built on a house of sand called runaway debt spending, so much so that 67% of every consumer dollar was borrowed money.
I have said this over and over in this thread as well as others - and it is always ignored - thanks for bring that up.

Oh, while we have had our differences in other areas, I'd have to say that our perspective on economics is pretty damn close.

I suspect things are going to get a lot worse before they get better.

Aye...though ridiculed by many here I have since February said the DOW will dip into the 10000's by August...you could actually hear the snickering...alas today the DOW closed at only 56 measly points away from that number..indeed the DOW will likely fall into the 10000's tomorrow...maybe Wednesday.
NOt something I really wanted to be right about - but it is really not that hard to see.
The ENTIRE markets have lost $2,500,000,000,000...that is everyone who has money in the stock market has lost that much money in 6 months...It is a easy prediction as well that the market could reach -$4 trillion by year end.
