12% of the median net worth is in the hands of the "worker" aged.

From whom would the bulk of the spending for consumer good come ?

Energy, food , clothing, shelter and services.

It is said our economy depends on consumer purchases.

Which is more important " tp increase the net worth of the 60 -100 group (near or in retirement OR the 0 -59 employable group that will make the balancing purchases" ?
