Again, this is relavent to your implication that Warren Buffet works and factory workers work how? Let me refresh you on what you said.
Granted your original sentence didnt make sense.Does he earn it like the millions who had their jobs exported to Chindia?

Previous factory worker ... with exported jobs ... millions of them.

Are you defining unemployment as a state after employment?
Are you referring to graduates from 2006 till today who were never hired at all?
Are you referring to graduates who acheived Masters or Phd but got jobs as burger flippers or coffee pumpers.
Lots of other forums are packed with the last category.
And yes, annnoyingly enough, entry level Americans, "unskilled" by the standards of corporate America, which has gone off-shore or brought the foreigners here.

BLS shows 500k more manufacturing jobs since 2000. So to be accurate 500k MORE are earning.Different factory worker. Not sure how this is relavent. You asked if Buffet earned his money like people whos jobs have since been outsourced. The answer is yes. He earned his money both like the factory worker who lost his job, and whatever new job the factory worker now has, probably some other factory in the US, which employ 12 million people. At no point does a previously employed factory worker earn his money like Buffet. He's unemployed ... his job exported and the job removed from the labor pool. That's why we have high unemployment.Of course he does. He produces something and sells it to someone. Same as some factory worker.

Unlike the phony propaganda that Americans won't accept a lower, I know many people who have accepted such and many others who have taken pay cuts because they know the economy can't sustain a pre 2009 salary.
The Town Hall of Hempstead, NY had 5,000 candidates, who each paid $30.00, showed up for a $10.00/hour secretarial position.
I know, I know, the Cons would say that $10.00/hour is too much.

I made the final 8 of the 500 at an interview. I sat there to be told the job would not be challenging enough for me. Why interview me? Unless you enjoy manufacturing you leave it almost immediately. I used to go in early just to listen to the humm of hundreds of machines running at the same time. Opportunities to save millions of dollars in cost reductions to processes, and make products cheaper and more profitable. Lol finding the savings and watching it get moved to China.
If you have never worked in manufacturing and enjoyed it ... it means nothing to lose manufacturing. I'd rather make $10 hr manufacturing ... then make $40 hr in an office. Money ain't everything in life and job satisfaction/ looking forward to work instead of dreading it is worthwhile.

michael,
The purpose of the interview was to collect more stats that there are no qualified Americans.
