I am still puzzled as to why brutus gets to inject such thoughtless venom in his postings.
He does not engage in discussion, he is using this forum to relieve his angst and it is apparently is not working.

Government blows the economy and the politicians benefit along with their corporate bosses. We get a trillion dollar army, a budget deficit, and lost employment. It would be good to see some excess and people get tired of federal government. 50 nations determining their own fate ... not owned by a corporation. You don't want illegals ... kick their ass out. You don't want job exports close the door.

We appear to be a nation of states who's goals are so diverse as to stall legislation which was, in fact, one of the goals desired by the founding fathers.
In reality, each state gets what it wants by promising your tax dollars to other states and then we wind up in a bubble driven economy that eventually gives us elongated recessions.
That's one of the reasons Texas wants to secede.

So you go to college or serve in the military ... to get to go to college and spend a fortune doing it. Then you get paid less ... why ... because America exports it's economy. Wages go down ... MN corporate profits go up. All in the name of coddling a few Americans so they may have another mansion. Oh did I mention the wage decrease aligns with job exports? Hmmm

Small business continue to struggle while large/MNC's continue to enjoy strong profits. Hmmmm the sacrificial dog of MNC's struggles and we wonder why there is pessimism for a growing economy.
Small business grows the economy yet consumption is slowed. Why oh why is consumption that would grow the economy slow Mr Rich? Have GDP exports cut into the basic health of the economy?

Growth this year has slowed almost to a standstill, and while large corporations have continued to enjoy strong profits, small businesses have been particularly affected by the stall-out. Multiple surveys indicate that small business owners anticipate pain throughout the rest of 2011, with dwindling numbers saying they expect hiring to pick up or economic conditions to get more favorable.

CEO's paid more then their companies tax burden? Right wing Obama ... spokesman for corporate America tied to 10 of them? What's this ... the 10 CEO's got paid 158 million, yet the companies got billions from the US?
Obama friend of corporations on the dole ... I thought he was a progressive? Maybe I just misread the info ... not. What are those two guys saying ... stupid voters ... we pulled the wool over their eyes again!.
Obama's Close Ties To CEOs Whose Firms Dodge TaxesAll told, these 10 CEOs with Obama connections brought in over $158 million for themselves last year. Their companies' federal tax bill, however, was a combined net benefit of $5.4 billion -- meaning the federal government actually owed these companies billions of dollars
Institute for Policy Studies, a liberal think tank, has named 25 major American corporations whose CEOs were paid more last year than their firm's total U.S. income tax bill in a new report. Of those business elites, 10 have substantive ties to Obama -- including some who have official economic policy advisory positions in his administration -- according to a HuffPost analysis of the report.
