Sort of a reverse conspiracy theorist (based partly on a Heinlein book IIRC), I sometimes wonder if the plan isn't to try to use as much of everybody else's oil as possible first so we'll have ours later. Kind of like the theory that we're purposely making easy targets out of heavily armed and armored Americans on foriegn soil to cut down on our enemies going to the trouble of going for all the soft targets we have domestically. Unfortunately, 'benevolenet conspiracists' theory is blown out of the water by other negative factors like our pending national bankruptcy.
Wow! You guys are really in denial concerning what the Donald explicitly said.
No drilling necessary; he says we have the barrels.
At least now I know you guys really don't watch Fox or listen to CTR.

Reserves are in the ground. Maybe if you provided a quote or a source this would make more sense.

    I'd have to look.
I remember YouTube had it one day, gone the next, back the next.
I guess some folks weren't very happy with what he had to say.

I presume you don't watch FoxNews or listen to Conservative Talk Radio...Just a Yes/No question out of curiostity.

No, not in denial, just didn't hear it. No (at least I) don't watch FOX unless there's something major going on like an earthquake or something. Don't listen to Talk-radio either, unless it's Sports Talk, which rarely talks about politics.

    Interesting...
JV watches FoxNews (as per another thread) and yet has no recollection of Trump making these statements.
    And I believe jv.
    Why?
Because people who tune to FoxNews use it as background white noise.
If during this especially vicious primary cycle you can't rememeber what Trump said to a pale white Greta and Hannity, I sincerely have to believe you don't really pay attention.

Which, in this RAREe instance, makes your posting irrelevent.

Well since I didn't watch it, and apparently you did, find me a link or something I can see it myself on and judge.

Don't take that to mean I don't think your interpretation is probably correct, I'd just like to see what exactly was said, because as we all know, whisper something to someone, and by the time the 3rd person hears it, it won't be exactly the same thing that was said.

As an absolute yes/no, yes. But with rounding errors, average minutes/day is 0 for FoxNews, since I rarely watch; talk radio probably averages something like 10 minutes/day - I listen in the car, but often switch to or stay on music depending on the talk topic, music quality, commercial schedule, etc etc
    Today's forecast: Government corruption.
Tomorrow's forecast: 100% chance of more 'politics as usual'

Maybe it's finally time to vote Libertarian

No matter if Trump is accurate or not, this is not the first time he has said oil should be $20 a barrel and gas should be next to nothing in cost. If anything this is just Trump running around being himself, doing all he can to stay in the news.

How can FN be wrong when all they do is repeat a mantra all day?

I'm not insulting you; you didn't reply to a direct question regarding watching FN yet you indicated quite clearly on another thread that you do,

You banty the "Liberal" label all over the place.
I read, listen and watch a ton of news and I'd like to know how other people come to conclusions.
