If there was content ... it could be defended. All who come to the defense of the practice merely empathize with the drivel. Yet they manage themselves to provide content, wit, and succinctness. They don't use the practice of making posts devoid of substance, but empathize with the fluffed up dogma.
If that was the rational for debate ... we could survive with one liners and intellectual jabs ... never mind an enormous page of one liners and jabs.

Open a word document, make a long list of intellectual insults and one line responses. Copy and paste at the appropriate time in debate. For more effect ... copy and paste the whole list, with smilies, giving the appearance of having said something insightful. Close the post with you best intellectual insult and make an appeal to your dogma.

The great thing about one liners and intellectual jabs in debate ... is they are brief. Everybody needs an outlet for frustration during debate ... and most times this expression is entertaining, given its generally brief ... I appreciate it's entertainment value.

Then as I said before, you miss out on a lot of good information. Your problem is, you are narrow minded on the subject and you don't want to accept that your opinion is not the only one there is. M maybe long winded but he has a better grasp of the situation than you do.
