That's a story you need to listen to, perhaps you'll learn some more.

The bible is not to be worshiped either. If you read it, you'll find some lessons in it as well, if you simply think, as opposed to just believe what someone told you to think.

    The key word....is "think".
It's very simple for deep minds.
Ayn Rand was telling everybody that manipulating people to do productive things is good.
And the manipulator takes all the credit.
The problem is that in today's world people are manipulated to do worthless sh!t.

Ayn Rand took what she paid into along with Medicaid which she didn't pay into.
And for her to get Medicaid took a sh!tload of work; I know because I got it for my mother-in-law.
She was a worthless piece of sh!t who left nothing behind but self-serving novels.

Which is almost exactly the opposite of what she wrote.

Are you sure you've actually read any of Rand's work? Or is it just what other people have told you to think.

    I'm betting it's the latter.

The appearance of giving government legitimacy I'd expect.

I read; she bores me to death with her pretentiousness.
Discussed with a colleague who saw it like you do and after an hour saw it the way I do.

She sucked the Medicaid teat even though she didn't need it.

Yet she carried on about rational egoism. "the virtue of selfishness" How can taking benefits from government present such a conundrum for her?

My son is reading forums where graduates post.
The market is not only near dead the business people they meet are using the old bullsh!t lines of telling the young they need experience and telling the experienced they need fresh blood.
In the meantime, every Indian on campus is getting a job offer and every Indian at the gym has a job.
And you wonder why lazy Americans are going for civil service and union jobs?

    Maybe it's NY. Maybe.
