I was referring to humanity and nature as a whole, not politically. i.e.; survival of the fittest, for example.
Nature and humanity both would have never gotten up to this point if both followed a liberal doctrine.
Nature would have failed had it had to wait for those who couldn't keep up.
Humanity would have long sense expended itself forcing producers to sustain non producers.

The overwhelming history of mankind is filled exactly with what we have today...
Those who want everything in the name of self-interest.
Those who want everything in the name of laziness.
Those who stand in the middle.
History is as richly laden with personality as is today.
If we were to chronicle last weeks events we would quickly run out of hard drives.

In one post I was answering another and you as usual missed the point.
IN the other I was making fun of Marginal Utility as a never ending argument.
I did receive a call from the National Prostitution Association complaining about being classified as UNSKILLED !
ALSO Offered a demo to prove otherwise !!!Now I lay me down to sleep.......

Laws are purchased-Justice with blood.

Since when men follow the conservative course as you outlined above, and since those men tend to be the Hitlers and Stalins of the world, I think I will stick with the liberals who see man as rising above the laws of the jungle and was given self consciousness in order to do that. The goal is to rise about the lower life forms, instead of being one of them. Let's just call it human exceptionalism, and the highest natural order. Conservative have no place in this higher natural order. They belong with the lower life forms, like slugs and maggots.

Hitler and Stalin differed on a few issues.
Stalin was determined to bring Russia into the 20th century and expressed no overt desire to conquer the world.
Stalin was as lacking in emotion as could be and had no overt loyalty to anyone but himself.
Nobody under Stalin became wealthy by serving the State.

No one accused Stalin of wanting to conquer the world, though communism under the USSR certainly expressed the desire to make the world into a communist state. Both Hitler and Stalin were for strong central government dictating to the states of provinces in the rest of the country which is the primary intention of left wingers today. They give a lot of lip service about altruistic motivation but in reality all they want is central control from cradle to grave. No one becoming wealthy is also the goal of left wingers in the US as well, which in the long run will cause our economy to crumble just like it has in every other example of strong left wing government experiments.
While I am not currently working in the restaurant business I have over 30 years of experience in it having worked at one time or another every position possible and I have to say its very interesting some of the perceptions being presented about waiters and waitress. The reason a waitress earns a wage of $2.50 an hour or around that (depending on the state) is because it is a tipped job, some of which is taxed since a percentage of their tips on credit cards are taken by the government. Which is why I usually tip in cash when I pay with a card. Depending on the restaurant AND the server a waiter can make a lot of money. The problem is most of it is in cash and cash is easily spent. For those who have little to no experience in the restaurant business I would recommend reading http://www.amazon.com/Waiter-Rant-Th...ds=waiter+rant which is probably one of the better books about waiting tables, its also a very good read. It along with Anthony Bourdain’s Amazon.com: Kitchen Confidential Updated Edition: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly (P.S.) (9780060899226): Anthony Bourdain: Books are probably the two best books to read if you wanted to understand the restaurant business.
I do not consider a person with 6 months of waiting experience an experienced waiter.![]()

I've been serving in some capacity for 10 years.
It makes no sense to pay these workers less than what the minimum wage is for everyone else.
Americans wake up every morning and rush to diners all across the country, with some hard working mostly female servers who work for peanuts. They top up your coffee a bunch of times and if you're a regular they get your order in fast and know just the way you like things. It's real, physical work and good servers are organized and work smart, just notice the next time you're at Denny's or Applebees when it's super crazy busy, and watch how good the typical mom-aged server is, doing three or four things at once. It's like listening to music.
For getting you on your way so you can be on time for work in the morning or lunch, servers are workers, too, and deserve the same minimum wage everywhere.

Lets just say I find that very hard to believe. From 9/11 till January 20, 2009 I was a knee-jerk Conservative; almost Nazi like.
That is absolutely false, Limbaugh rightly blamed Franks, Dodd, Waters and the rest of them Dems for the conditions that led to the housing market collapse. While Obama kind of contributed to those conditions with his work for ACORN and it’s baseless accusations of redlining Limbaugh never “blamed” Obama for the 2008 crash. The guy had been a Senator for about two years, during which most of the time he was running for the Dem presidental nomination. The number of votes Obama cast as a Senator could probably be counted on two hands. And then Limbaugh blamed the 2008 crash on Obama.
:rolleyes:I found the Dice.com forums which led me to the .gov sites which exposed how BOTH parties sold out the US to foreign interests.
Then you worked for an asshole who treated you like everyone else. As he said, you’re nothing special. And I find it very hard to believe that you were making 13.00 an hour as a waiter.Compensation is based upon bang for buck.
It's not that I deserved to be paid more as my closet manager who was making at least 3x my salary for literally doing NOTHING but insulting me and the others and keeping us in our place.
The wage of a waitress or waiter has nothing to do with either supply-side or demand-side economics. It is determined by the supply of labor available for the job and the level of training required to do that job at a competent level. Other than private clubs where there is no tipping I know of no restaurant which would pay a waiter with no experience $13.00 and hour. The issue is whether workers who actually keep things going should be getting $7.XX/hour for breaking their backs.
Apparently, the Supply Side economics theory says "Yes".
