I suppose most of you have heard about the newly released movie “Happy Feet” ( http://movies.aol.com/movie/happy-feet/21862/main ) being an animated version of Al Gores- *Cough* -documentary “An Inconvenient Truth”…

Children’s films should be written for children. I mean It’s worse then watching a PBS special advertised as nature and turning out to be mind conditioning on left claims of environmentalism.
The ice caps are melting, breaking apart due to mans global warming , there food supply is gone because of mans pollution and over fishing. They message religious intolerance by the elders portrayed as religiously bigots hating anything different and banishing the little shit because he’s not like them. It’s a freaking joke.

The movie is nothing but liberal propaganda doom and gloom and should be avoided at all cost.

I took my son to see this last night - it was, in a word - terrible.

The movie started as the usual "Disney style" musical animation..and then suddenly, as if Al Gore himself wrote the script - enviromental issues took over the ENTIRE movie. I am talking, what would you say Hank - at least 20 minutes of the movie is about over fishing...

Got to go with Hank on this one - it sucks!

I think Al Gore looks (and even somewhat sounds like) a penguin.

But Al Gore probably has a lower IQ than your average penguin.

Remember - Gore was the guy the Democrats picked to represent their party in 2000. Then in 2004 the Democrats picked the disgusting and military-loathing John Kerry to represent their party.

I'm hoping the Democrats pick Nancy Pelosi or John Murtha or Charlie Rangel or Howard Dean or Hillary Clinton to represent their party in 2008.

I thought the points the movie made were extremely accurate, Hank, especially the parts about the religious bigots hating others. Hate in the name of God is a tradition with a long and sad history. People will look back on these times and see the hate just as clearly as we see it in the Crusades and the Inquisition. Glad you got to see the movie though. Was the popcorn good at least?
