Tornadoes

Well, here it is... another May and we have had another outbreak of tornadic activity in the Plains states... CNN has video from 2 storm chasers in Oklahoma filming a small twister during yesterday's storms... it is simply amazing stuff... catch it if you can... They say that today will more than likely be a day that a lot of people will remember... and not for a good reason, either...

Tornado Videos

Saturday, May 5, 2007 will likely be day remembered by storm chasers and residents of the Central Plains for the rest of their lives. We don't have time to get into detail, since we need to get in position EARLY for this event...the models are forecasting extreme instability and wind shear by noon, with tornadic supercells firing along the dryline by early afternoon. The SPC issued a high risk for western/central KS for this dangerous outbreak.
Y'all be safe... ya heah?

They don't have them because they don't have the proper topography and the correct moisture/temperature combination to produce them. It's physics not religion.

Re: Tornadoes

Rev Fred Philps is right. America is doomed because the wrath of GOD! Because we have lost our morality. Like Allowing Gay marrage for example and Liberalism. Why you think GOD sent a hurricane to New Orleans? And a record of Tornadoes ever? Hes trying to tell the american people how he feels about the democrats being in control of congress. And hes trying to tell you how he feels about George W Bush.

Re: Tornadoes

By that "logic", God must have been telling you to stop being so hateful when He got you that ticket.

Best you heed His warning before he drops some bad mojo on your ass.

Meanwhile, back in reality, this was a horrible incident. From what I am reading, they are saying the conditions in the afternoon and evening today favor even stronger storms.

Re: Tornadoes

Tornado season has been arriving earlier in the SE over the past few years.

Another sign of a warming Earth.

Really? Do you have any evidence that warming is linked to tornadoes?

See, this is why God sent you that ticket. You're being hateful, and it makes God angry.

Best mend your ways before you get stopped again. God's gonna cite ya....
