Re: Bush v. Gore re:energy consumption

If he is, he's gonna be pissed.

As the late Sam Kinison once opined, discussing televangelists:

"You Jesus is up in Heaven freaking out over all the shit they say he said. He's flipping through the Bible, going 'Where the fuck did I say build a water slide? I never said build an old folks' home and use it as a tax write off!'"

No, but there are deceivers you should keep a heads up for. I mean fuck, where having an insurance crisis here in Florida and the flipping governor is talking solar power and environment. I mean Bloody hell, talk about smoke and mirrors.
(Do you like the Bloody hell in place of a closing antidote?)

Re: Bush v. Gore re:energy consumption

I never really liked Gore, but since his movie I changed my oppinion. It's nice to see someone with a good cause. It's good to see someone working hard for a change. bush could learn a few things from this man.

Well, this thread kind of points out what a flaming hypocrite he is. It may be a good cause, but he certainly isn't committed to it and is parading it around for attention.

I argue he is parading it around because it demands attention.

Then why doesn't he practice what he preaches? Because he's a hypocritical piece of crap interested in the profit, not the problem.

Well in the first place all proceeds from his efforts go to the Alliance for Climate Protection, a nonprofit organization.

If you watched live earth you would know he drives a hybrid vehicle (as do i) and is fully equipping his house with all the latest doodads that im not looking up, but I know hes exceeding my own efforts, and I try to do my part so I am afraid I am not ignorant enough about the man to agree with you.

Did you read the article at the beginning of the thread? Apparently not...
Plus, not all profit is monetary.

The article is titled "Urban Legends" and is someone own blog. I could post a similiar blog that says that one was posted by bush. That wouldn't make it true.

Er, no, it's not a blog.

Snopes is a fact-checking site, and quite diligent.
