Bad Meat

Cargill, the largest US agricultural company, just recalled 844,812 pounds of beef, Citing E. Coli Bacteria. This was just after Topps Meat Company recalled 21.7 million pounds of frozen hamburger patties because of E. coli:

We (the US) complain about lead in the paint of Chinese toy products and yet even with constant FDA on-site testing at food producers we can't produce our own meat, spinach and other food products without risking the poisoning of our populace. Time to outsource meat?
