....my personal carbon belch will be :

I am pretty happy about that nice high carbon belch! Yes, I know it is nowhere near AL Gore's! He is in a league of his own! But still, it is pretty damn good!!

In anticipation of Carbon Belch day: I am not recycling. I am super cooling the house every day- even when I am at work. I drive as fast as I can even up to red lights. I am flying A Cessna 172 at least 3x per week for 2 hours per trip - JUST FOR FUN!!! I am cooking most of my meals on my gas BBQ and using the gas to clean the BBQ by cranking up the heat for 15 minutes or so. I am eating meat with every meal -almost exclusively veal or beef. I am cutting my lawn with a gas lawnmower once a week and severely over-watering too. I am power-washing and hosing down the driveway at least once a week - using HOT salt softened water. I am taking very very long showers twice a day- an average of 15 minutes per shower (my wife too!) . I leave as many of the lights on in the house as I can - even when not home. I do not own any CFL bulbs and have no plans to, ever.

Well, thats about it, I am just trying to do my part! I hope you'll all participate!!

PS - don't forget to buy your Carbon Belch Debits (CBDs) -- a meaningless term that will have just as much impact on Al Gore’s "planetary emergency" as the carbon credits. Cheers!!
Why not just put flaming bag of shit on Al Gore's doorstep, ring his doorbell and run away gleefully? That would probably be less childish...

If you are going to conduct a protest or a harmless hate crime, wouldn't it be more sadistically fun for the object of your hate to be aware of it?

You know, most people don't know this but Global Warming isn't really a climate issue at all. It is 100%, without a doubt a POLLUTION issue, but cleverly disguised as a climate issue, so that's why it has a bad rap, since some people see through the charade and automatically assume they're being deceived. But you see... the politicians, most of the general public and corporate owners buy it and that's good. Scientists have been trying to get these groups to listen to them for years about pollution, but it's too environmental, too "sciency." They needed something everyone can relate with to get people to be concerned; weather. I mean look how often people ask about the weather, people care about it. When you attach an environmental issue with something people care so much about they listen, and that's good for business, good for politics and good for the environment. You see its positive effects every day, more and more cars are being developed that are fuel efficient than ever. Muscle cars are not hip anymore, cool, gas saving, but sporty cute cars are. Like it or not Global Warming (debate) is a success in the eyes of environmentalists. Criticize people like Al Gore all you want, he is just capitalizing on all those environmentalists that don't even realize they're being environmentalists. How is that any different than automobile CEO's raking in the dough off of Global Warming critics who buy expensive, gas guzzling SUVs (the only people who are really being lied to and deceived about Global Warming).

The thing about it is that there just are not that many PETA like people out there. They get quite a bit of attention on television, on television shows, and mostly from right wing media in order to make it all look loony. I personally have no met anybody that is a member of either PETA, Greenpeace, or any similar organization. Everybody I know that is concerned about climate change are people that are otherwise more informed than the general public on most things in general and are not hard core lefties you would expect. Saying all those concerned about climate chance are crazy radicals is like if an alien came to this planet and met one serial killer that spends his time he is not killing sitting in a pile of his own feces while wearing his grandmother's panties reading Guns N Ammo while smear peanut butter all over himself and assumed that person was representative of our species as a whole.
