This would be consistent with the bush doctrine.
LOL Actually CO2 production in the US was flat during Bush's 8 years. Before you have a heart attack, let's just say $140 barrel oil had more to do with it than almost anything he did (unless you assume he created $140 oil, if so he was a genius for Green power).

bush's great plan to overcome climate change was to push the sale of oil to help the economy so we increase profits and become wealthy so we can then buy a solution. You don't remember?

OPEC? no, it had more to do with a tip that Gore was going to receive the Nobel peace prize around that time.

I thought it had more to do with China and India needing more oil.

not if you include military emissions.

Military emissions in the US are included in the totals. I believe they even have a category for cow farts.

It is interesting the Greens wish to include cow farts in as anthropogenic GHG. Anything to make the computer models work.

According to the EIA they are subtracted from the totals, the line called adjustments to energy are the military totals.

"Second, because the IPCC definition of energy consumption excludes international bunker fuels, emissions from international bunker fuels are subtracted from the U.S. total. Similarly, because the IPCC excludes emissions from military bunker fuels from national totals, they are subtracted from the U.S. Total. "

EIA - Emissions of Greenhouse Gases in the U.S. 2007-Carbon Dioxide Emissions

And regardless, looking at those totals anyway - even with the subtraction of military fuels - emissions of CO2 in the US grew under the Bush admin.

Cattle farming is an anthropogenic activity. It only makes sense to include intensive cattle production.
