The world has been changing for a billion years, warmer and colder, we all agree.

What makes this gore led herd think that THIS particular point in time is the BEST for the earth? Only people with an unbelievably over inflated view of their own importance would claim that NOW is the perfect point in time, the perfect temperature patterns for the earth? Why now out of all the possibilities? Maybe a few degrees warmer IS the better temperature for the earth, not that I believe man has any control or influence over that temperature. Who the hell are these people to tell us? The people at the core have been proven to be frauds, the recent meeting in Copenhagen was a joke, put on by morons from the world over, morons looking to strip us of our dollars, nothing more.

These people think they know better than nature, better than God, what is best for earth. I heard some people the other day describing how they were excited about tagging sharks so they could help them survive. Never mind that they've been "surviving" without man's help for millions of years. This bunch that grew out of the 60's believes their own sctick. They think they know more than nature. No group has ever been this arrogant to my knowledge.

The only thing that's warming because of man is the ambient temperature inside the alarmist's cranial structure. It's the panic du-jour with this mob.

I have news for you: this isn't, in any conceivable manner, 'breaking news'.

The polar ice caps are set to melt by the end of this next decade. At the beginning of this decade it was projected to happen in the 2030's.

Yes, for billions of years the planet has gone from warming to cooling periods, but should we sit idly by and watch while this warming period occurs about 100 times faster than the other ones?

Sounds like the heart felt belief of a good person with good intentions. But I'm sorry, I've followed this very closely for at least 20 years and it's absolute hogwash.

You've been mislead. No one with an ounce of common sense doesn't want to do everything we can do to keep our planet as clean as possible, and respect the rest of nature. This whole movement isn't even about the climate, it's about the liberal agenda and how to redistribute the wealth of America to the rest of the world.

Look at what you've said here. The temperature is absolutely NOT climbing a hundred times faster. The fact is it's cooling. People the world over are recording record cold periods. It's bunk. And if the earth is trying to warm, which I don't believe, who are we to change what the earth wants to do?

For crying out loud, the biggest "warming" ingredient in the atmosphere is water! Carbon dioxide...we breathe that out along with every breathing creature on the planet. The planet has been warming and cooling because that's a natural cycle. Mars is doing the same thing. It isn't what gore tells you, it's fluctuations in the sun and other natural factors that we have no control over.

Gore is getting rich scaring the hell out of people and he doesn't even believe his own crap. His house uses many times more than the average and he flies around in a jet consuming huge amounts of fuel. Wouldn't you think he'd set the example if he was truly concerned? He's here for the money, period.

I think the point is--what is natural & what is man-made causes. After all we all know that earth went through an ice age--basically "without" men on earth or should I say very few of them.

And that's the question in a nut-shell. It's kind of hard for me to believe that something we "exhale" or air is a cause of greenhouse gases--when mother earth has to have it for most living things.

In my opinion it is the arrogance of men--who have only been on this earth the "blink of an eye" in relation to earth terms--to think that they can control temperature or mother nature.

That depends on how much we can slow it down by switching to alternative fuels. I'm not about to give up my lifestyle or make any changes to the way in which I live if it only has the positive effect of a magnitude equivalent to pissing in the ocean.

It's so moronic, the whole movement. Take electric cars. Sounds wonderful right? Have you ever heard one of these people explain to you where the electricity comes from to charge them up? Most of it comes from coal and the pollution that that entails. How about the batteries that it takes to run an electric car? Another environmental nightmare. Environmentalists should investigate that one, they'd be flabbergasted. The whole thing is a fraud.

We need to start over from a position of openness, common sense and intelligence to keep our environment clean. And while we're starting down that road, we should drill for our own oil now and cut the Middle East loose. And we could really cut back on hot air if we'd stick a pin in that fat windbag al gore and all his science fiction.

What blows my mind is there wasn't a single penny in the 787 stimulus bill that wasn't for a nuclear power plant in this country. While liberals say they want alternative energy to get away from our dependence on foreign oil--LOL--they won't do the things that could get us there.

You mentioned electric cars? Some say we're only trading a small exhaust pipe for a much larger one from a power plant. Without nuclear power plants--we can never reach total independance. Wind & solar won't do it alone.

As far as your pictures of Sarah Palin--you know you're blasting the person who knows more about energy in this country than anyone else does--& is very vocal about drill here--drill now.
