Maybe for many years to come. I only buy gulf shrimp, I pass on the Vietnam farm raised (in their own waste) variety. This really sucks
And this just in: Bush is to blame.

Well sure I mean Bush lives in Texas after all so shit it has to be his fault. But now did you mean the shrimps waste or the Vietnamese waste? Either way I rather eat oil than shit!

The way I hear it, the VN raised shrimp comes from freshwater ponds that are overpopulated so the ammonia lever (shrimp waste) is high. This can make bad tasting shrimp, or even shrimp that make you sick. I don't touch 'em. Plus, y'know how a fresh gulf shrimp is texture wise, right? It's got a kind of firm crunch to it............VN shrimp are soft and crumbly, maybe because they are frozen and old.

I wonder how long this thing is gonna spew oil.........will the whole gulf end up a polluted wasteland?

Already spent a month at Ft. Polk for JRTC and I don't really have any desire to go back to that state anytime soon.

I hope they get it capped like yesterday in all seriousness. I make light of it to irritate the leftys but it's escalated to the point to where even I'm starting get pissed. And I'm starting to acually worry about, yes, the enviromental impact.

Louisiana is hot and humid for doing anything out doors such as military stuff so yeah I don't blame ya. In fact when my job of 18 years comes to an end next year I plan on leaving myself.

Me too. The whole thing is a fucking mess and all we can do at this point is hope and pray.
