I saw this today and would have laughed it wasn't so sad that this is what passes for science today.

Moderates are not republicans

You could have at least supplied an argument against this theory from someone with an actual scientific background rather than just some guy who's made a living from being grumpy.

I've heard enough about him to know I'm not his target audience and are you claiming he's not grumpy as every time I've heard anything by him he's moaning about some old tripe. I'd be surprised if anyone ever claimed he was a jolly fellow.
Seriously though why are you using him as a link as he's not an expert or even an interested amateur scientist he's just some bloke on the radio. I'm not trying to say one way or the other whether or not the story is valid as I'm rather sceptical as that would have to be some epically smelly farts to set of global warming I'm just saying he's not the best source of scientific information about anything.
It's like asking a boy band about politics and expecting them to sort out the budget deficit.

I've listened to the link and he's really not a good advocate against this issue as he's so biased against science it's almost comical. He couldn't be much less impartial if he tried.
What he is is asking people to use thier commonsense to see how absurd this is..........

I agree the idea does seem a little far fetched I'm just pointing out the guy doesn't know much about science. If you could provide a link from someone with credibility in the field (any at all will do) that would be great rather than just linking to a talk show host. Stranger things have happened and oxygen was mostly formed by bacteria over the course of quite a while and made most life possible so dinosaurs farting themselves to death would hardly be the weirdest thing ever.

I'd rather he say something to the effect that pollution is the enemy and we to devise intelligent ways of dealing with it or that we should not legislate something that is not yet overt.
He's always asking people to use their common sense but he really means HIS common sense.

Rush is hilarious; one of the reasons for his great success.
