100 tons of climate insanity loaded onto a fishing boat in CA

A California businessman chartered a fishing boat in July, loaded it with 100 tons of iron dust and cruised through Pacific waters off western Canada, spewing his cargo into the sea in an ecological experiment that has outraged scientists and government officials.

Marine scientists and other experts have assailed the experiment as unscientific, irresponsible and probably in violation of those agreements, which are intended to prevent tampering with ocean ecosystems under the guise of trying to fight the effects of climate change.

I guess now that it's already done, and can't easily be un-done, we'll be seeing how this works out. Hopefully without detrimental effects, or minimal effects, or, most likely if you ask me, no effect at all.
If a man were behind four months on his mortgage and was talking to you about his plans to build an addition on his home you would think him daft and delusional. But in Washington, ignoring a current crisis to discuss grand dreams is called “boldness” and “vision.”

The Pacific can swallow 100 tons of iron dust like you or I would a single french fry.

Yup. That's kinda what I'm thinking too, but you know the eco-mentalists, through the government, are going to have their way with him.

Let's at least hope that this doesn't give the climate guys any ideas with which to further screw things up.

Waste of fishing boat. Waste of 100 tons of iron dust. Waste of 2.5 million dollars.

    Global warming trifecta!

That must be a serious fishing boat, btw.
