Any friggin idiot can get a drivers' license and there are over 40 thousand vehicle deaths in the U.S. every year. Clearly cars should be banned right?

Cars are meant for transportation and guns are meant for killing. Not many people would use their cars to commit murder.

Its just a question of convenience.

You have tried several times now to try and assume that mischevious behavior is similar to criminal behaviour. There is a difference. And what this evil thug did was worse than mischevious behaviour. It was criminal behavior.

As for the death camps suggestion, no. Not yet. Parents need to understand that savagely brutalizing children is the way to discipline them before they start commiting criminal acts. If the criminal's parents properly disciplined him on an iron maiden or with healthy swabs of mace to the eyes as a child, then I'm sure his criminal behavior would never have escalated to this.

No, he'd just develop a complex and turn into a psychopath.

LOL I think you're right. Not to mention that he'd be put in foster homes while his parents are in jail for such inhumane acts! To think that someone would actually advocate spraying a kid with mace confirms the fact that there's still plenty of pyschopaths around!

Re: Dumb@ss Deserved Death

I never said anything about spraying the kid with mace. I said swab. Dip a cloth into some liquid mace. Wipe it across the child's eyes. Better yet, replace the kid's eyedrops with mace. He'll discipline himself.

Either way, only a psychopathic person would do that to a child and would definitely deserve an extended stay in the looney bin followed by a very long prison sentence with Bubba as his cellmate.

When I was in the military, I was a base cop in San Diego.

One night, the son of one of the guys living in the barracks on base came to visit him. The mom and dad were having their marital strife (which is why he was living on base), and the kid would come and visit the dad every so often. The kid was 15, but big; maybe 6’, pushin’ 200 pounds. Dad was 150 pounds soaking wet.

Someone in the barracks called about a disturbance. Me and my partner rolled up to the barracks and, as soon as we got out of the truck, could hear things breaking. We were told what room, and went up to investigate. This kid was tearin’ the joint up, and there was no way Dad was gonna’ stop him. My partner and I had three options: Mace (actually a potent pepper spray), a nightstick, or a gun.

I maced the shit out of him…

In this instance, mace seems to have been warranted. I don't believe for one minute though that you advocate using mace on your child as a form of discipline!

No it has nothing to do with the handgun Goober, but it does have everything to do with the person that owned and used that hand gun. You missed the target as usual. THis doesn't show why hand guns should be banned, it shows why the government should have the right and systems in place to really check out those who want to buy hand guns and keep them out of the hands of those that are this mentally unstable.
