Prior to 9/11 people were allowed to bring box cutters onto airliners. After 9/11 they are no longer allowed to do this.
So frightened of their shadow leftist aka progressive if “ball point pens” are used as a weapon on airliners guess what. They will then be banned. This is just so simple to comprehend because just follow the trail of banned items. Prior to gun free airplanes guns were allowed on airplanes. After a few hijacked airplanes guns were banned. Did not stop the hijacking but at least only the bad guy had guns. I guess it made it easier for law enforcement to tell just who was who. Prior to 9/11 box cutters were allowed on airplanes. After 9/11 no more box cutters.
