Nope - not true.
RESPONSE AH, but it IS true, if they are still alive.

LEGAL immigrants (not 2nd and 3rd generation, but those who actually made the effort to come here in their own lifetimes) have ZERO tolerance for illegals..RESPONSE$ Perhaps some of them, at least those few you have spoken with

Re: The Mexican Wall

Sure, the few I've met. As well as the groups of them that spoke out on May 1, 2006 while the illegals and their supporters flooded the streets. It didn't get a lot of coverage, of course, but groups of legal immigrants publicly spoke out against such 'victimhood' and made it clear those illegals did not speak for them.

Re: The Mexican Wall

First post. Couldn't be a better topic to start with.

We do need a wall. A big one. But thats only part of the problem. The biggest problem is what our government allows them to get away with.

The fact is how can you blame these people. If I lived in Mexico and America was basically giving everyone who can sneak over free housing, free medical, and, free food Id be sneaking over in a heartbeat. What is the worst that can happen. They send me back. Like thats going to work. I'll just keep trying.

Until we stop making it so attractive to come over here even a wall won't solve our problems. We need to stick to the rules. And when I was growing up in this country the rules were much stricter. Seems to me you had to know the language to become a citizen. There was a process involved in becoming a citizen. Not anymore. Those days are long gone. Now its give give give.

Don't speak English.....no problem take the drivers license test in spanish even though there are no signs in that language. Have a kid get a raise. Find a bank that caters to you. Or just move to a place where 100,000's of your people have already taken over.

Melting pot??? More like a bowl of stew. Meat here, potatoes there, celery in the next city. Our nation is falling apart because we can't stick to the principals that made us the super power we are. And unfortunately now its too late.

No need for a wall - simply do the following:

Forbid any and all social services to illegal aliens. Require proof of citizenship. No citizenship granted to children just because mom made it across the border before having a child. Dont have it? They are assumed illegal. From here proceed to section below

The first time an illegal is found in the US:

1) implant them with an RFID chip.
2) Inform them - verbally and in writing in both their native language and Englis - that they are being deported and are not to return to the United States again.
3) Inform them further that the RFID chip WILL let people know that they have returned.
4) Inform them even further that the presence of an RFID chip will be taken as evidence that they have been previously deported and told never to return.
5) Deport them. Just take em to the border and drop em off.

The SECOND time they are found in the US (remember, they have a chip in them now)
1) Execute them on sight. Said execution legally allowed to be carried out by ANY American citizen, anytime, anywhere. The presence of the RFID chip is proof of their guilt beyond reasonable doubt. To further limit chances of false ID, make inexpensive scanners avaialable to anyone who wants one.

Is it harsh? Yes. Do i care? No. Will it stop illegal immigration? I'd sure hope so - i mean, i cannot imagine ANYONE being so stupid as to keep trying after having it made crystal clear that you will be executed if found.
Better to implant a small explosive device in their neck which will explode next time they cross the border.

It should be the size of a pee and just enough to blast away the main bloodvain.

Re: The Mexican Wall

People who cross the ocean and risk their lives should automatically be allowed in the U.S. This includes Cubans on rafts in shark infested waters and Chinese sitting in unbearable crates for weeks.
