That Smith & Wesson is SWEET!

I checked one out at my local shop; not too bad a price. Just under a grand at the time.

What a fuckin' cannon that thing is. You could hit someone in the foot and kill 'em...

You don't know anything about guns? Really? We never would have guessed....

Sarcasm aside, why do you feel you're qualified to offer your opinion on something you know nothing about? Perhaps if you learned a bit more about them, you wouldn't be so inclined to offer completely uninformed emotional arguments in favor of gun control.

For its size and weight - not to mention complete lack of concealability (unless you're like 7' 425#), I'd rather carry a 12ga.

It'll fit in a shoulder holster nicely. I'd never try to carry it like I do my CZ, though, which is in a flexible holster inside the waistband of my jeans...

I know they can kill people in a split second, perhaps in a short moment of doubt or despair. Isnt that enough? If I knew people on the street were carrying a gun I wouldnt feel one bit safer even if I myself had one which I had good control over. I dont want to live in such a world.

When I draw my weapon, I have no doubt I'm going to hit what I'm aiming at, and I will not despair over my decision to use deadly force.

That's plenty...

Re: Do You Carry A Gun?

That S&W may not be practical, but it kicks ass.

I might get something like the Glock 21 or something else that fires the .45 ACP

Well, you do. And everyone isn't about to get rid of their guns. Get one if it makes you feel safer (or cooler ), don't if it doesn't.

Check out the Kimber Pro Carry II. It's available in a .45 ACP (as well as a 9mm). My brother's got one. Not inexpensive, but a damn nice weapon...

Re: Do You Carry A Gun?

Yeah, I'd have to save up for that one. But I'm sure it would be worth it in the end...
