Two, if you didnt already know. Richard Kuklinski a.k.a. "The Iceman" had a Derringer in each pocket when he was out to hit someone.

There ya go.

And a carry permit (I have) doesn't necessarily mean one has to carry all the time EITHER. I RARELY "carry". When I DO, I'm paying damn close attention. Even a MINOR screw up might kill me or someone else. There's no room for fucki ups when you carry. If you're prone to fuckups, clumsy or get pissed when the wind blows the wrong direction you probably shouldn't carry. EVER.

Hell, I just like guns.
I apologize if it appeared my comments were aimed at you. They surely are not.

I too enjoy shooting, hunting, etc. But some USPOL members talk of guns crosses the line into bravado. These people know who they are. And because ownership of guns is a RIGHT (one I do not take lightly, much as I cherish the other rights I have as delineated in the Bill of Rights), I don't think one should reduce their discussion of guns to silly NRA bumper-sticker talk.

I sure as hell don't feel intimidated by the likes of you! If you'd like, I can PM you my address & you can come on over for a beer & chat if you'd like. I'm only about a 5 hour drive from you. Hell, I'll even grill up some tasty steaks (I assume you're not an effete vegetarian liberal & enjoy beer, grilled meat, & target shooting as much as me!).

But you & Steve do serious gun-owners a disservice with all your "tough-guy" talk. If you wanna win people to your side on the touchy issue of gun ownership, you should tone down the bravado. I'm on your side re: gun ownership & the right to bear arms. I just think the message you & Steve send out turns off those sitting on the fence. And I hate to see that, because I truly loathe restrictive gun laws. Sometimes, gun owners are their own worst enemy. And I think your speech to this matter over the last few months speaks to that.

That is all.

Cheers!

Or perhaps...

(The deagle picture is of a prop, I think, but you get the idea.)
The revolver is the better weapon of those two since it contains almost as many rounds as the eagle. Its also more reliable and a lot more powerfull due to the longer cartridges which wont fit into the eagle, or any other automatic pistol for that matter.

But if you and I had to shoot it out (you with that revolver, and I with the below MAG-7 shotgun) then you would become the dead man.
Modern Firearms - Shotgun MAG-7

I find that when I am armed, I am ever more polite and less likely to let minor things annoy me.

I am very conscious that I am carrying a lethal implement, and take pains to ensure that I avoid situations that could escalate to a confrontation.

Not that I don't avoid those things when unarmed, but even more so when armed.

So if someone on the street calls you a lot of bad things without reason, then you will just walk away with your head down?

Nice. Yeah, I like revolvers better anyways. Don't know why.

I did some research and found out that Virginia apparently allows NFA32 firearms and automatics are allowed if registered with the police. So I could get something like this...

No common street criminal's going to do much against a Mac 10. But they cost like 3,000 bucks...

Nope, just trying to help some posters be more judicious in their word choice.

It was a rhetorical question.

My CZ holds a bit more than that...

Perhaps you could point out an example of this "tough guy" talk...

And what "message" would that be?

Maybe because you have selective "seeing."

At any rate, my last post to that effect should suffice. Just because I don't parade my gun bravado on a message board doesn't mean I don't suppor the Bill of Rights in toto.

And oh, looky here, you just posted this on the "Officials Deliberately Killed Children" thread:

"If there's one thing I've learned since coming to USPOL is that, if you don't agree with someone, you are automatically opposed to everything they stand for."

Apply it to this situation. Just because I think the worst about you regarding most things doesn't mean I disagree w/you about the right to gun ownership. I'm just saying you should tone it down about 20 notches.
