Democracy isn't always a good thing. As someone once said, democracy is two wolves and a sheep deciding what's for dinner.

If you believe there is no need to be afraid when people have no gun, then perhaps you could explain why one should be afraid when someone does have one, but isn't using it to threaten you?

Why should you frankly CARE what another person has or doesn't have as long as he isn't trying to harm you?

If you believe that simply making guns illegal for private ownership makes them go away, you're a fool. Drugs are also illegal for private ownership and use, and yet, somehow people get them.

What you're really saying is, you don't like guns, and you'd rather people just gave up their possessions just to make you feel better. Further, you're willing to ask the government to kill them to get what you want.

Ultimately that is it my friend. You want someone else to use force on others because you do not want to take personal responsibility.

In everyday driving I don't have an accident, yet i wear a seatbelt every time.

In every day living, i don't have a fire in my home, yet i have a smoke detector and a fire extinguisher.

I don't cut my finger every day, but I've got band-aids in the house.
