If you own a gun, do you carry it regularly, be it legally or illegally?

I was, at one time, licensed to carry a concealed weapon. Only once was I required to draw the weapon, and I'm damn glad I had it with me at the time.

Now, while I'm no longer licensed, I still do carry. I would much rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

So, do you carry?

I originally bought mine as a protest of an unconstitutional law that said I couldn't have one. I am so infrequently in any situation where the need to be armed even occurs to me, much less manifests itself, that to carry regularly would invite more trouble than any likely benefit.
(Not safety concerns so much as work policies or overzealous cops.)

Too young, although I may find somebody to transfer me possession of a handgun, but I would still have to wait until I'm 21 to obtain a CCW. Carrying open can be more trouble than its worth.

In reality I would just like to have the option available to me. I can nearly always keep a level head and I know where not to go, so I don't feel a need to carry all the time.

No, couldn't if I wanted to, but then I've never felt the need to or wanted to so I guess it's a moot point.

In case you were wondering, yes, there really ARE more idiots these days....technology has made natural selection obsolete.

With all the places I go, I'd like to carry one, but there wouldn't be much of a point. Just leave it in the car. OH, and I don't have a gun. I'd like to get some mace, but that seems kinda feminine. I can't carry a knife for the same reasons that I can't carry a gun. The places I go and work.

Depends on what I'm doing but there is 90% chance that a gun or knife is close at hand.
